Google Maps leads in n8n.

Three ready-made workflows that pull Google Maps leads with Maps Harvest and put them where you work: a Google Sheet, an AI-written opener for each business, or a weekly list of new businesses. Import one, add your free API key, and run it.

Set up once

  1. 1Create a free account at mapsharvest.com. No credit card.
  2. 2In the dashboard, open Integrations, then API access, and create a key. It starts with mh_live_.
  3. 3In n8n, add a Header Auth credential: Name Authorization, Value Bearer mh_live_... with your key.
  4. 4Open a new workflow, choose Import from URL from the menu and paste a template's link below, or download the file and use Import from File.
  5. 5Pick your credential in the three Maps Harvest steps, set your search in Your search, connect Google Sheets, and run it.

Google Maps leads to Google Sheets

Pick a business type and a place, run it, and every lead lands as a row in your Google Sheet: name, phone, address, rating, reviews and more.

What it does
  1. Starts a Maps Harvest search with your settings
  2. Checks every 30 seconds until it is done
  3. Downloads the leads and adds each one as a row in your sheet

Businesses with no website, each with an AI-written opener

Finds businesses with a phone number and no website, then has AI write a one-sentence cold-call opener for each from its rating and reviews.

What it does
  1. Searches one business type in one place, keeping only businesses with a phone and no website
  2. Writes an opening line for each lead with the chat model you choose
  3. Adds the leads and their opening lines to your sheet

Every Monday it searches the same business type and place and adds only the businesses you have not had before, so you can pitch new openings first.

What it does
  1. Runs every Monday at 8:00
  2. Searches your business type and place; Maps Harvest never sends your account the same business twice
  3. Adds the new ones to your sheet

Settings in “Your search”

queryThe business type, as you would search it on Google Maps: Dentist, Roofing contractor, Nail salon.
countryus, uk, canada, australia, germany or india.
statesThe state or region, for example Texas, Greater London, Ontario, New South Wales, Bavaria, Maharashtra. Several can be separated by commas.
citiesOne or more cities in that region. Leave it empty to cover every city in the region.
max_total_resultsThe most leads to collect. Each lead uses one credit.
require_phonetrue keeps only businesses with a phone number.
min_ratingKeep businesses rated at least this. 0 means any rating.
exclude_websitetrue keeps only businesses with no website (used in the AI opener template).

Questions

Does it work on the free plan?

Yes. Every plan can create an API key, and the free plan includes 50 leads with no credit card. Paid plans add more leads each month and more fields per lead.

What does each lead include?

The free plan gives 13 fields: name, category, phone, address, city, state, latitude, longitude, rating, review count, the Google Maps link, the search and when it was found. Starter adds the website, Growth and above give all 23 fields.

Will I pay twice for the same business?

No. Maps Harvest never sends your account the same business twice, so running a search again only brings, and charges for, businesses you have not had before.

Can n8n be told when a search finishes instead of checking?

On the Growth plan and above, yes: add webhook_url to the search with an n8n Webhook node's URL, and Maps Harvest sends the leads there when the search is done.
