Why people look for a ZoomInfo alternative
You can't buy it with a credit card
ZoomInfo doesn't publish pricing. Every contract is quote-based, annual, and carries a three-seat minimum — so the smallest realistic entry point is a sales call, a negotiation and a year of commitment. If you're a solo cold caller or a three-person agency, the buying process alone costs more than the tool you actually needed.
The contract size doesn't match the job
Third-party purchase data puts the median ZoomInfo contract around $31,875 a year. That can be perfectly rational for an enterprise sales org with intent data and territory planning. It is not rational for building a list of every HVAC company in three counties.
Local trades are thin in any contact database
ZoomInfo's depth is in company firmographics and named contacts at organisations with a real digital footprint. The independent electrician or the family-run garage often has no record to enrich — but has a complete Google Maps listing with a phone number on it.
You want to start today, not next quarter
MapsHarvest is 50 free credits with no card, and $19/month if you keep it. You can have a finished, deduplicated CSV before a ZoomInfo demo would have been scheduled.

What ZoomInfo actually costs
There is no list price to quote, because ZoomInfo doesn't publish one — pricing is quote-based and the company sells annual contracts rather than a true monthly plan, with a three-seat minimum. That's not a criticism so much as a description of who it's built to sell to.
What public data exists comes from aggregated purchase records. Procurement platform Vendr reports a median contract around $31,875 per year across more than a thousand verified purchases, with per-seat licensing commonly cited in the $1,500–$2,500 per user per year range on top of the base tier. Reported all-in spend for teams frequently lands between $30,000 and $60,000 a year once seats, credits and intent-data add-ons are included.
Against that, MapsHarvest is $19/month for 1,000 leads, up to $129/month for 20,000, on a card, cancellable, with no seat charges. Different tools, very different commitments.
When ZoomInfo is worth every penny
If you run an enterprise sales org selling into mid-market and up, ZoomInfo's depth is real and hard to replicate: named decision makers with verified emails and direct dials, org charts, technographics, buying-intent signals and native CRM enrichment. If territory planning and intent scoring drive your pipeline, that's the tool, and a per-lead scraper is not a substitute.
Be clear about what MapsHarvest does not do: we don't provide personal contact details, job titles, org charts or intent data. We return the business — name, phone, address, website, rating, hours and more — from its public Google Maps listing.
The dividing line is simple. Selling to people inside companies? A contact database. Selling to the business itself, and it has a storefront or a service van? Google Maps is the more complete list, and far cheaper.
How to test it in 5 minutes
Take one niche and one metro you already work. Build the list here on the free plan — no card, no call — and compare it against whatever you get from your current source on coverage and on how many rows come back with a phone number you can actually dial. For local trades that comparison tends to settle itself quickly.
MapsHarvest publishes this comparison and is one of the products in it. ZoomInfo does not publish pricing, so every figure above is third-party reported as of September 2026 and should be treated as indicative, not quoted — see Cleanlist's pricing guide and Landbase's breakdown. Your quote will differ. MapsHarvest pricing is live on our own pricing page.
